Vehicle Information

The hazardous materials response equipment was purchased through a WMD grant to meet the needs of central South Dakota in the event of a hazmat incident. Pierre currently has eight hazmat technicians as well as various other personnel trained in other levels of hazmat response.

Technical Rescue Response Trailer

Vehicle Information

The technical rescue trailer carries all of the equipment that may be called upon in the event of a trench, confined space, or a high-angle rope rescue. The Pierre Rescue Squad is staffed with several members with the high level of training required to meet the needs of a response in these areas.

Rescue 3

Rescue 3 is a 2004 Ford F-350 quad cab pickup that was purchased to meet the needs of a response to a hazardous materials incident in central South Dakota.
