Vehicle Information

B-2 is a 1998 Marine 1 26' Catamaran rescue boat equipped with two Johnson 200hp Ocean Runner outboard engines. B-2 is capable of carrying up to twelve personnel and among other features, this boats fiberglass, foam-filled, twin hull design allows it to cruise through rough and choppy water with ease.
This rescue boat was purchased through the cooperation of the South Dakota Game Fish and Parks, City of Pierre, City of Ft. Pierre, and Hughes, Stanley, and Sully Counties.

Rescue 2 is a 1999 Ford F-350 quad cab pickup that was purchased and customized to meet the needs of dive and water rescue. This vehicle seats six and is equipped with a pullout bed capable of storing several SCUBA tanks as well as all of the dive equipment that may be needed on a call.
